"the First Lady of BINGO” has dedicated her life to spreading the word of BINGO! From her humble beginnings, as the daughter of a BINGO caller in Buffalo, N.Y., Betsy has become an international BINGO icon. Betsy has entertained with the USO with her show, Under the G and the I, she has held “BINGO for Peace” at 5 international summits and Presidents Kennedy, Carter, Reagan and Clinton have awarded her the coveted “Medal of Patriotism” for her BINGO work throughout the United States. Betsy has made numerous television appearances including the game show, “Bragging Rights”. She also has been a cast member of Buffalo’s longest running show Diva by Diva. Today she can be found hosting BINGO at her world renowned “BINGO Palace”.
JERRY MOSEY (Chip) is presently an Adjunct Professor at Niagara University. A veteran to the stage, favorite roles include Albert Peterson in Bye, Bye Birdie, Emile DeBec in South Pacific, Lazar Wolfe in Fiddler on the Roof, The Wizard, in The Wizard of Oz, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, John the Baptist in Godspell and Thernadier in Les Miserables. Jerry says that theatre is one of the major forces that keeps him alive and happy.
JOEY BUCHEKER (Creator/Co-Writer) is a multi TANYS Award recipient for Les Miserable (Direction), Hairspray (Direction & Choreography), Joseph...Dreamcoat (Direction & Choreography) and a 3 time Artie Award nominee for Supporting in a Musical (Snoopy in ...Charlie Brown/Albert in It Shoulda Been You) and Choreography (Poseidon). Performing credits: Off-Broadway: Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. Regional: Hello, Dolly! (Barnaby) starring Carole Cook, Mame (Ito) with Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth, Cabaret (Emcee), Beauty and the Beast (Lefou) and Nunsense A-Men! (Sr. Leo) Director-Choreographer credits: Pippin, West Side Story, The World Goes Round, and the New York premier of Nunset Boulevard. Joey is the host of the People’s Choice Podcast Award nominated, Cocktails and Cream Puffs (.com). Joey holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Niagara University. Thanks to Kevin for everything.
MARY KATE O’CONNELL (Director/Co-Writer) is one of the most imaginative and respected members of Buffalo’s Theatre Community. Mary Kate is the Executive/Artistic Director of O’Connell & Company and creator of Buffalo’s longest running show, Diva by Diva. Favorite roles: Glorious (Florence Foster Jenkins), Nunsense (Rev Mother), Sweeny Todd (Mrs Lovett), and The Lady with All the Answers (Ann Landers). She will be inducted this fall to the Plaza of Stars. Mary Kate dedicates her life's work to the memory of her dear Mother and sister Patty for a lifetime of unwavering love, strength, inspiration, honesty & friendship.
